Today a 52k time trial is on the program. Almost in Paris and the last chance for Andy to win 10 second to Contador.
Al over favorite of the time trial started early. At 11.21 Fabian Cancellara started his time trial. He was the fastest. Tony Martin came close. Will Cancellara´s time be enough to win this TT?
Andy is off and on his way. He looks solid. Contador who is right behind him, doesn't really sit still on his bike. He move to the front and to the back of his saddle. Andy stays in one position on his saddle.
On the first time points on the route, Andy makes the time gap smaller too Contador. He had 8 seconds to Contador. And Sanchez loses time to Mentjov and Mentjov climbs in the GC to the third place. Going on in the time trial Andy wins time to Contador and the yellow is getting closer and closer.
What Andy said. The Tour is not over yet.
The conditions in the beginning of the time trial are different than when Andy and Contador are riding, there is more wind. Cancellara will win this Time trial but it's race of seconds for the two.
In the middle part of the time trial Andy is losing seconds to Contador. 46.53 Andy's time at the second time point. 46.46 Contadors time at the second time point.
Metsjov is doing good things this time trial. He passes van der Broek. On this moment Mentjov is in third place in the GC.
In the last part of the time trial Andy loses a lot of seconds to Contador. This year is for Contador but next year Andy will be back.
Andy road the crap out of him until he looked yellow. Sorry that it ain't a yellow jersey. Andy gave it all, fought to the last second, he gave the Tour glance.
Cancellara wins the time trial, Contador wins the Tour.

No matter what, you're still a champion.
You'll be stronger next year, and I have no doubt you'll blow us away.

As far as I am concerned, you share the yellow jersey for 1st. place - the first tie in the history of the Tour de France.

The same as if Andy had waited for Contador the day in which he took him 31 seconds ...
From Spain, let all of you know that all of us we like Andy a lot, we hope next years will be so fantastic as this year and hopefully both of them can share the victory next year.
BRAVO ANDY !! You are great, very good in cycling and much better person. Spain admires you !!

But I know for sure that next year Contador has to beat you! And you will stand in Paris with the Yellow, which is, like you already said, a nicer colour than white!(and Paris already saw you in white
Good luck from Friesland!
